They charge $20 for paying GST upfront for you and no option ard this. So even if your GST amount is $1 you will have to pay $21 otherwise they will not release your parcel. Clearly an unfair practice that you as the buyer have no say over if seller chooses DHL.

Also.. they are slow and have missed target delivery date a few times.

Scheduled a DHL Express delivery for 26th November 2023 between 3.15 pm and 5.15 pm.

Delivery person arrives at 4.27 pm. Rings the doorbell once. Leaves. No pre-call. No attempts to contact me to clarify. Nothing. There is no way for me to call them to come back despite it being 4.28 pm - despite it being a minute after they rang the doorbell.

I call the DHL Express hotline. It's closed on a Sunday. I contact their online customer service. Nothing can be done. The driver can only be called back the following day despite being less than 10 minutes away because I wasn't waiting like an expectant puppy for a service I supposedly paid a premium for.

Useless courier service. Don't even attempt to deliver their parcels. Just ring the door and then leave. Even when 4 people are at home and the door is wide open waiting for them to show up. Just give useless excuses and no apologies. Insincere and useless.

Adding insult, they will hold your package hostage unless you pay them $20 fee as a service fee for arranging for the import GST payment (you still pay them the GST). $20 for this kind of shoddy service? What a joke

The worst Delivery Service in Singapore i have ever exprience by a far.. I bought a Dyson product online and the delivery service was by DHL Singapore.. For a local service, it took them 4 days on their 1st attempt and the worst part is they dont even ring the bell or knock on the door, as if they are afraid of people. @nd attemp is exactly the same scenario. people are inside the unit but they still say no one was home.. pathetic.. if i can put in a negative score, i would.

I am amending my previous review of the DHL Global Forwarding Singapore team as they have redeemed themselves by providing adequate service on my previous shipment. Though there were delays which could have been avoided, those issues weren't due to the Singapore side.

Andy, Iza, and Cecile have handled my most recent shipment with attentiveness and prompt responses, allowing my company to receive our goods in a somewhat timely manner.
